On behalf of the Society for Natural Immunity, the Organizing Committee cordially invites you to participate in NK2008, the 11th Meeting of the Society for Natural Immunity, to be held October 26 to 30, 2008 at the Esplanade Hotel, Fremantle, Western Australia.
The meeting will cover the most up to date development in the field of innate immunity with a special focus on Natural Killer cells. The development, function and regulation of NK cell activities will be discussed in detail, as will their role in host defence, autoimmunity and transplantation.
The meeting will be held in the Australian spring in the gorgeous historic port city of Fremantle, just minutes away from our breath-taking beaches and ocean.
Given the lengthy trip many of our overseas visitors will have to reach us, we have decided to add an extra day at the end of the meeting to allow all participants to visit the beautiful island of Rottnest. Rottnest is accessible from Fremantle via a pleasant 30 min ferry ride and the island will provide us with a fun place to conclude NK2008 by the sea!
